Description

Profiteroles.

We make choux pastry balls and fill them with a combination of fresh cream and patisserie cream.

We then dip the choux pastry balls in chocolate.

Our chocolate profiteroles are available in quantities of 10.

Our recipe consists of only the best and freshest ingredients.

Who invented Profiteroles?

Pantanelli (or Pantarelli) was the inventor of choux pastry in the sixteenth century.

He was the head chef of the Queen of France at the time, Catherine de Medici.

But it was the legendary French chef Antonin Careme who really made profiteroles famous in the early nineteenth century.

Careme created the Croquembouche, which is a cone-shaped tower made up of choux pastry balls or Profiteroles.

Profiteroles have become a staple of French and Italian cuisine. Croquembouches are often served at weddings in these countries.
