What is Chocolate Drip Cake?
Chocolate Drip Cake is a recent invention.
Australian cake designer Katherine Sabbath is credited as being the modern creator of the drip cake around 2015.
A chocolate drip cake is a cake in which there are chocolate drippings that drip down from around the edges of the cake.
The drips are made from chocolate ganache.
Drip cakes are often much higher than normal sponge cakes.
The drip cake has become very popular in recent years.
It looks good and it tastes even better.
And as there are four layers of sponge and three layers of cream, there is more cake to eat!
If you would like an extra layer of sponge and cream, we can provide this at an extra charge.
