Description

Chocolate Sport.

We make two delicious circular puff pastry biscuits.

We add a small square piece of sponge that is soaked in rum alcohol into the middle of the two biscuits.

Our bakers then surround it with a filling of chocolate patisserie cream.

We coat the outside of the pastry with mixed cake crumbs and then dust with icing sugar and cocoa powder.

Our recipe consists of only the best and finely-sourced ingredients.

What is a Chocolate sport?

The Chocolate Sport is a lesser-known but popular pastry in Bedford.

Like our cream horns and Zuppette, we make our chocolate sports with puff pastry.

As we use rum, it is not suitable for Muslims and those who cannot drink alcohol.

It should be noted that we only use a very small touch of rum in the sponge.

Please store our cakes in a refrigerator until they are ready to eat.

We recommend consuming our Italian cream pastries within 48 hours of purchase and our fresh cream pastries within 24 hours of purchase.

Our bakery handles all of the eight major food allergens; dairy, gluten, nuts, peanuts, egg, soya, sesame and sulphites.
