Italian sponge cake.

We make a traditional Italian sponge and provide a choice from a variety of fillings.

Our bakers soak the sponge with an alcoholic Strega syrup. If you would like a non-alcoholic syrup, please leave an additional note on your order.

Our cake has three layers of traditional, light, fat-free Italian sponge and two layers of cream.

We finish and decorate the cake with a mixture of fruits.

We also provide the option of writing a personalised message on top of the cake at no extra cost.

Our recipe consists of only the best and freshest ingredients.

Italian sponge cake for birthdays and celebrations

Italian sponge cake (also known as Pan di Spagna) is the ideal cake to celebrate a birthday or another special occasion or for a party.

The most popular celebration cake at La Rondine is Italian sponge with Italian patisserie cream.

However, we also provide the option of other cream fillings; Italian chocolate patisserie cream, Vanilla chantilly cream and Chocolate chantilly cream.

If you would like to request another cream filling that is not available to order online on this website, please give us a call and we may be able to accommodate you.
